Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, based in Pecos, Texas, seeks a full-time Energy Marshall to manage energization, LOTO, and energy isolation on site.

You will ensure energized systems are identified and controlled, coordinating with project teams to maintain safety and compliance. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical energization in industrial settings, strong knowledge of LOTO, and the ability to read one-line diagrams.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical or system energization in industrial or data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lockout Tagout procedures and energy isolation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain one-line diagrams.
• Experience developing Energization Methods of Procedure (MOP).
• Knowledge of hazard identification and safety controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated authority for energy related activities on the project site.
• Coordinate energization and de-energization with project management, safety, and supervision.
• Review and explain electrical diagrams to project teams.
• Maintain real-time awareness of energized vs de-energized systems.
• Participate in commissioning, load banking, and system testing.
• Develop, review, and approve Energization Methods of Procedure.
• Enforce LOTO requirements and ensure proper isolation of energy sources.
• Maintain Energy Control Log and track system changes.
• Communicate energization status to stakeholders and attend safety meetings.
