Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, GA seeks a full-time Energy Marshall.

You will act as the energy control authority on site, overseeing energization activities, LOTO compliance, and comprehensive documentation to maintain safe, energized systems during project execution. You will coordinate with project management, safety, and trades, read and interpret diagrams, and ensure proper EP procedures are followed for all energization work.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical or system energization in industrial or data center construction.
• Strong understanding of Lockout Tagout procedures and energy isolation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain one-line diagrams.
• Experience developing Energization Methods of Procedure (EMOP).
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification and safety controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated authority for energy related activities on the project site.
• Coordinate energization/de-energization with management, safety, and trade supervision.
• Review and explain one-line diagrams to project teams.
• Maintain real-time awareness of energized vs de-energized systems.
• Participate in commissioning, load banking, and system testing.
