Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Pecos, TX, seeks a full-time Energy Marshal to lead energization control on project sites.

You will ensure LOTO compliance, document energization activities, and coordinate with project teams and inspectors to maintain safe energized systems. Responsibilities include developing Energization Methods of Procedure, reviewing one-line diagrams, auditing LOTO, and communicating energization status to supervision and trades.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical or system energization on industrial or data center projects.
• Ability to interpret one-line diagrams and energization procedures.
• Strong knowledge of LOTO and energy isolation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated authority for energy-related activities on the project site.
• Coordinate energization and de-energization with management, safety, and trades.
• Develop, review, and approve Energization Methods of Procedure (MOP).
• Conduct pre-task briefings and verify prerequisites before energization.
• Enforce Lockout Tagout program; document locks, tags, and group lockouts.
• Maintain Energy Control Log and communicate energization status to teams.
