Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Energy division in Colorado. You will lead resource planning, scheduling, and execution from design through construction, coordinating with GC, architect, engineer, and owner teams while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering, five years of PM/engineering experience, and proficiency with scheduling tools like MS Project, Primavera, or SureTrak.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
• Proficient with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, SureTrak).
• Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
• Experience with General Contractors or major mechanical subcontractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies required resources to achieve project goals.
• Leads project planning, schedules, and scopes of work from design to completion.
• Primary contact for project engineering staff during construction.
• Ensures safety compliance of on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Manages change orders, subcontracts, and cost reporting.
