Job summary

McKinstry is hiring a Construction Project Manager, DER to join the Manufacturing team in Denver, CO. You will own a smaller-scope DER project from planning through closeout under the guidance of a senior PM, handling budget, schedule, subcontractor coordination, permits, and client communication.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction project management or coordination, with DER/solar/energy storage experience preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• DER construction experience preferred.
• 2–5 years in construction project management or coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred and relevant DER/solar knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a single DER construction project from planning to closeout under Sr. PM guidance.
• Track budgets, schedules, and resources with accountability for outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with permitting, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with field teams, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify risks to cost, timeline, safety and quality, with senior PM support.
• Execute quality control plans and assist with client billing and monthly forecasts.
