Primoris Energy Services in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an experienced Estimator to calculate costs for energy construction projects, including pipelines and facilities. You will analyze drawings, specs and proposals to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates.

Collaborate with engineers and project teams, solicit bids, evaluate subcontractors, and maintain cost databases. Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid or B2W, and strong Excel skills are preferred; 3–5 years of experience required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within the energy or oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for energy construction projects, including pipelines, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and scope.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
• Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with project costs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost databases and historical project data.
