Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking an Estimator in Hubbard, Texas to accurately cost energy construction projects, including pipelines and facilities. You will analyze plans, prepare time, material, labor estimates, and collaborate with engineers and managers to define scope.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of estimating experience in energy/construction, proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid and B2W, and strong communication and negotiation skills to support competitive bids and safe, on-budget

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent experience in construction estimating or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience estimating energy/construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and project documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for energy construction projects (pipelines, facilities, infrastructure).
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to determine project scope and requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers; negotiate pricing.
• Identify risks and opportunities related to project costs.
• Maintain cost databases and historical data for accuracy.
• Participate in proposals and client presentations as needed.
• Communicate estimate details and assumptions with internal and external partners.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, material costs, and methods.
