Job summary

Community Action of Washington County seeks an Energy Conservation Specialist to manage weatherization programs and data systems serving low-income households in Washington County. You will oversee the Weatherization database, ensure data integrity, and support program leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in weatherization, HVAC, or building construction or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook) and experience managing complex database applications for reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration of the CDBG rehab and No Heat programs, liaise with partners and funders, manage project applications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Act as the technical lead for the Weatherization database, ensure data integrity, generate detailed performance reports, and track expenditures.
• Conduct thorough project file reviews to guarantee accuracy and adherence to State and Federal requirements.
• Oversee client intake, waitlist management, and file assignments to ensure equitable service delivery and timely contract completion.
• Serve as a key member of the program leadership team, helping to develop, draft, and implement departmental policies and procedures.

In this role, you will manage the essential systems that keep our energy conservation programs running smoothly. From database management to project compliance, your work ensures that low-income, senior, and disabled households in Washington County receive the critical support they need.

Abbreviated Duties List:
