Abbott is seeking a trainee for the Columbus Energy Center (Powerhouse) to learn boiler operation and maintenance while training in factory classrooms and on-the-job with licensed operators.

You will work toward Ohio SSE license, gain hands-on experience with steam, chilled water, filtration systems, and GMP compliance, and participate in Maximo CMMS work order activities alongside a licensed team.

Qualifications

• Requires SSE license in Ohio.
• Must be able to learn highly technical processes.
• Strong mathematical, communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Learn fundamentals of Energy Center operations, maintenance, and safety.
• Operate Energy Center systems and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Record labor hours and manage work orders in Maximo CMMS.
• Support preventative and demand maintenance and SOP adherence.
• Follow GMP, OSHA, FDA/USDA guidelines and plant policies.
