Truman Medical Centers is seeking an Energy Center/HVAC Engineer A to operate and maintain critical mechanical systems within the University Health Truman Medical Center campus. The role focuses on boilers, chillers, air handlers, and refrigeration, with responsibility for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will respond to emergency utility calls, perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines, and document all activities in the work orders.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain boilers, burners, surge tanks, DA tanks, make up water softeners, pumps and other supporting equipment and controls.
• Operate and maintain chillers and cooling towers, pumps, water treatment chemicals and equipment.
• Operate and maintain air handlers and terminal units such as VAVs, fan coils, and controls; maintain control system air compressor and regulating equipment.
• Receives and evaluates emergency calls regarding essential utilities and services.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Maintains tools and equipment; maintains inventory; documents all work performed in TMS.
• Utilize building automation system and established control strategies to operate equipment efficiently and according to good journeyman practices.
• Provides preventative maintenance per manufacturers recommendations, including cleaning, lubrication, calibration, changing filters, replacing parts; ensure manuals available; document equipment logs.
• Promotes quality improvement, staff and patient safety, and cultural diversity through department operations and by personal performance.
• Presents in courteous demeanor to all patients, visitors, other employees/medical staff members.
• Maintains current knowledge related to applicable statutes, regulations, guidelines and standards necessary to perform job duties in accordance with Corporate Compliance Plan; complies with Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Plan and policies and procedures.
