Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic seeks an Engineer III to monitor and maintain boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps and related systems at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. The candidate must hold a Maryland Grade 1 Engineer License and work the night shift.

The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Weekend work and shift rotation are required.

Qualifications

• Maryland Grade 1 Engineer License is required.
• At least 1 of the listed qualifications (1–5) may be submitted for consideration.
• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited institution is acceptable.
• Professional Engineer licensure with related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps and related systems.
• Perform daily testing and manipulations per Maryland codes.
• Conduct routine shift tours of mechanical rooms and perform corrective maintenance.
• Install, test and repair equipment per standard practices and safety regulations.
• Maintain all equipment controlled by Plant Operations and adjust systems for climate control.
