Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Energy Center Operator to operate, maintain, and repair complex building systems across large hospital campuses. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a strong patient- and staff-facing service mindset.

You will manage boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, and related control systems while adhering to environmental and safety standards. A valid license and relevant certifications are required, with opportunities for growth within Mercy’s facilities team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year direct relevant experience.
• Valid Driver’s License for all Mercy locations.
• EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants.
• 1–3 years of commercial HVAC, boiler, and refrigeration experience.
• Mercy OKC/AR licenses as specified for boilers where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC, boiler, refrigeration, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Support large hospital campuses and ensure a safe Environment of Care.
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with staff and patients.
