Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Underwriting Assistant (Energy Casualty) to support a high-performing underwriting team focused on Energy Casualty business, assisting with the full policy lifecycle from submission intake through policy issuance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within commercial insurance environments and be comfortable handling complex risks related to energy operations, including oil & gas, energy contractors, renewable energy, and other specialty casualty

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Experience with policy issuance, endorsements, binders, renewals and quotes.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions and identify missing underwriting information.
• Process quotes, binders, policies, endorsements, and notices.
• Enter and maintain policy information in underwriting systems.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews for data accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with underwriters and brokers to support energy casualty business.
