Job summary

Lancashire Insurance U.S. provides underwriting and administrative support for Energy Casualty accounts in Connecticut. The role supports the Underwriters with data collection, data entry, and producing quotes and binders, while assisting with policy issuances and endorsements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of casualty insurance experience.
• Degree level qualification.
• Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and eager to develop underwriting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Underwriter in reviewing account submission data and coordinating with broker partners to obtain missing information.
• Assist with policy issuance instructions for quotes, binders, policies, endorsements and notices; ensure accurate coding/issuance.
• Perform data entry and quality checks of policy information in in-house systems.
• Generate broker communications related to processing and follow-up requests.
• Support Underwriting teams with ad hoc operational duties.
