A global leader in commercial insurance is looking for a seasoned Underwriter to join their Energy Casualty team in Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a profitable portfolio and strengthening relationships with Southeast producers. Qualified applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in casualty underwriting, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in relevant software. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience underwriting casualty lines.
• Experience with Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Excess Liability.
• Ability to develop tailored solutions for complex risks.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a profitable Energy Casualty portfolio.
• Cultivate relationships with Southeast producers.
• Conduct underwriting analysis and prepare quotations.
• Monitor and manage new business pipeline.
• Solicit submissions from brokers and clients.
• Provide exceptional service and support to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
• Contribute to developing underwriting guidelines.
