Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is expanding its Business Development team to serve large load customers, including data centers. The role focuses on originating and developing sites, combining gas-fired generation with renewables, and managing partnerships and commercial structures.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in the U.S. electric power sector or related field; experience with utilities, IPPs, hyperscalers, or data center developers is preferred. Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline including business administration, economics, engineering, etc.
• Experience in the U.S. electric power sector or related field is required.
• Experience with utility-scale energy developers or hyperscalers is preferred.
• Proven ability to create new business opportunities through relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and build relationships across energy and data center ecosystem for FlexGen.
• Manage commercial progress of FlexGen Energy Campus opportunities from conception to negotiations.
• Research market intelligence from public sources and direct relationships.
• Maintain relationships with utilities and load-serving entities for insight on dispatchable needs and tariffs.
• Increase visibility of RWE FlexGen and energy campus capabilities through outreach and conferences.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape energy campus opportunities for customers and partners.
