Job summary

Smart is seeking a Building Performance Engineer to evaluate and optimize energy usage across our portfolio. You will analyse energy and mechanical data to identify opportunities, and work with stakeholders to implement efficiency strategies that align with environmental goals.

The role requires a suitable degree and at least two years in energy management or related fields, with a focus on delivering measurable energy savings and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified degree or equivalent in energy/environmental management or building services engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in energy management, sustainability, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze energy data and performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Monitor and evaluate asset performance to support maintenance and energy-saving initiatives.
• Lead data-led initiatives and coordinate with operational teams for implementation.
• Provide technical and operational support for metering and monitoring systems.
