Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools seeks a Maintenance & Operations Compliance Auditor to regularly inspect district facilities, audit energy use and indoor air quality, and ensure adherence to operating procedures and safety programs.

Under the Director of Maintenance and Operations, you will analyze energy data, support Energy Star reporting, coordinate with technicians, and help implement districtwide energy management initiatives and staff education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in building operations or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills; ability to collaborate.
• Must be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Visit and audit district facilities to monitor compliance with regulations and internal standards.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain records related to energy, IAQ, safety and pest management.
• Audit building automation systems and coordinate actions with maintenance teams.
• Communicate findings to the Director and coordinate follow-up to ensure compliance.
• Support districtwide energy management initiatives, including staff education.
