Job summary

U.S. Venture’s Corporate Office in Appleton, WI hosts a Summer 2026 Business Intelligence Analyst Intern for the U.S. Energy division. The intern will support the finance team, work May–August, and gain hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities include data interpretation, data acquisition, cleaning, and creating visual reports with Power BI, while collaborating with management on information needs and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in a data-related field; junior or senior preferred.
• Experience with reporting packages and databases.
• Proficient in SQL, R, Python; familiarity with SAS/SPSS.
• Ability to write queries, generate reports, and present findings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and provide ongoing reports.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases.
• Clean and review data to locate and correct issues.
• Use Power BI to visualize data and create insightful reports.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize business needs.
• Identify new process improvement opportunities.
