The City of Indianapolis and Marion County is seeking a skilled professional to manage partnerships and programs related to energy efficiency, with oversight of the Energy Benchmarking and Transparency program. You will develop and evaluate compliance goals, track municipal data, educate stakeholders, and report progress to leadership and the public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability management and policy, environmental engineering, or comparable field.
• Five or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and model datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder audiences.
• Experience with building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Implement and manage the Energy Benchmarking and Transparency program data and reporting.
• Educate building owners and community members on the ordinance and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with city administration, staff, and external partners on key energy initiatives.
• Analyze municipal energy and water consumption data and prepare annual reports.
• Support equity considerations and resilience across city energy programs.
• Provide technical support and data analysis for annual reporting requirements.
