AlphaGov seeks a senior energy analyst to design impact evaluations for energy efficiency and electrification programs. You will estimate gross and net savings using billing analysis and regression models and review TRM assumptions and program tracking data.

You will plan participant and contractor surveys, assess cost-effectiveness, and write evaluation reports to regulators. This is a remote-first, project-based consultant role with occasional client travel.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years in energy efficiency program evaluation (EM&V) or energy data analysis.
• Billing analysis and statistical skills (R, Python, SAS, or Stata).
• Experience writing evaluation reports for regulators or utilities.

Current work includes a state public service department evaluating thermal and electric savings from single-family retrofit programs.We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

RequirementsRequired

• At least 5 years in energy efficiency program evaluation (EM&V) or energy data analysis
• Billing analysis and statistical skills (R, Python, SAS, or Stata)

• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

• Weatherization or heat pump program evaluation
• Vermont or Northeast experience
• IPMVP or CMVP certification
