KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is seeking a customer-focused Server to join our fast-paced casual dining team in Ypsilanti. You will welcome guests, guide them through menu choices, and relay orders to the kitchen to ensure a smooth dining experience.

We value strong communication, a minimum of 1 year restaurant experience, and comfort working around grills. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to thrive in our vibrant environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant experience.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer questions about the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information on menu items, pricing, hours, and promotions.
• Take accurate orders and ensure correct fulfillment.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work.
• Maintain a clean front-of-house station and monitor table turnover.
• Communicate with kitchen and management about allergy orders.
• Provide friendly, energetic hospitality and multitask between dining room and bar.
