Job summary

Community Horizons is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a family in Kaukauna, WI. Hours are 2:45 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling, plus weekend and summer care as needed.

The role includes meal prep, personal care assistance, supervision, and transportation. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, background in Wisconsin, and experience with individuals with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to pass a Wisconsin background check.
• Experience working with adults or children with complex needs.
• Proven dependability.
• Committed to providing care for children and adults with special needs.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and snack preparation.
• Assist with mentoring personal care tasks.
• Provide 1:1 supervision for the child.
• Provide transportation (after-school pickup, possibly out-of-home activities).
• Offer emotional support to family members.
• Engage in de-escalation tactics as needed.
• Light housekeeping related to the child.

Needed Hours:

• 2:45 PM – 7:00 PM
• Monday-Friday (Flexible, no set schedule)

Wage:

• $17.97/Hour
• Mileage pay offered
