Community Horizons is seeking a compassionate childcare provider to support a 3-year-old with special needs in the family's home and at a daycare setting in Appleton/Menasha, WI.

Responsibilities include daily activity planning, supervision, and assisting with naps, meals, and mobility. The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliability, and a friendly, patient demeanor. Weekday hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with potential respite shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Wisconsin background check required.
• Sweet, kind, caring personality preferred.
• Able to pass Wisconsin background check and drive to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Talk with family to plan daily activities.
• Provide emotional support and participate in in-home and daycare outings.
• Assist with naps, dressing, snacks, and toilet routines.
• Support daycare activities and supervise child’s safety.
• Offer respite care and flexible hours as needed.

A kind-hearted parent is seeking help for her 3-year-old daughter, who has special needs and epilepsy. This parent is seeking a childcare provider who can help in their home with respite and as-needed support at their daycare.

Location

Area: - Appleton/ Menasha Wi Daycare

Hours & Schedule

Hours: - Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (This family is seeking to find a backup applicant)

Respite Hours: - flexible - no set schedule - work balance life - Weekdays - Weekends

Pay Rate: - $17.97 /Hour Respite care

Daily Care Responsibilities

• care needs: Talk with family about what you will be doing for the day
• Offer emotional support when needed Attending in-home and community

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
