CONSUMER DIRECT CARE NETWORK in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time childcare respite provider to support an active child in a home and local community. The role involves engaging, sports-filled activities and dependable scheduling.

Ideal candidates are energetic and punctual, with a passion for working with children; a reliable vehicle and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about engaging with children.
• Dependable and punctual with a flexible midweek schedule.
• Comfortable participating in sports and active play with a child.
• Able to build positive relationships with children.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and auto insurance, with ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Help the child stay on task while getting ready for school/daycare.
• Provide reminders for dressing, brushing teeth, and gathering belongings.
• Assist with getting to the school bus or provide occasional transportation.
• Help the child transition home from school/daycare.
• Prepare or serve a simple snack or meal.
• Engage in fun, active play at home or in the local community.
• Assist with the bedtime routine by providing reminders and encouragement.

Now Hiring: Part-Time Childcare Respite Provider

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and engaging childcare provider to support an active child in the home and local community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with energetic children. The child loves sports and physical activities, and the ideal provider will be excited to actively participate in fun activities with him. Students or individuals pursuing degrees in education, child development, social work, or related fields are encouraged to apply, though all qualified applicants with a passion for working with children are welcome.

Location:

Menomonie (Family Home or Local Community)

Schedule:

• Wednesday 6-7:30 AM
• Thursday Afternoon 4-7:30PM
  Occasional additional on-call opportunities if interested
  Compensation: $14.13/Hr

About the Child

The child is independent with personal care tasks but benefits from gentle reminders and encouragement to stay focused. Activities he likes:

• Hockey
• Basketball
• Bike rides
• Physical games (Wrestling/Football)
• Swimming
• Climbing things
• Any outdoor activity
