Job summary

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games in Overland Park is seeking an Event Associate for a part-time role that may earn tips. You will help guests, set up and run events, and ensure a fun, safe experience across our family entertainment center.

The position emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required, and company-wide training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
• Set up and break down event spaces per contract and floor diagram.
• Host entire event, supervise activities and ensure guests are pleased.
• Maintain proper food and beverage temperature and correct utensils.
• Pay attention to details, focus on guests and understand event contracts.
• Deliver energetic guest service with a sense of urgency.
• Observe and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
• Assist with guest recovery and ensure positive guest experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of Andretti brand, products, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
• Be aware of facility emergency procedures.
• Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned.
• Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
