Job summary

Xfinity Live! in St. Louis is seeking an energetic server to greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and provide prompt, professional service. You will upsell cocktails and menu items while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Requirements include 1+ year in a fast-paced F&B setting, English fluency, knowledge of drinks, and basic cash handling. Shifts may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue, preferably nightclub.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, preparation methods and garnishes.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Courteous, pleasant and good-natured.
• Strong communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Serve cocktails and/or menu items; upsell when taking orders.
• Maintain energy, but stay professional and courteous at all times.
• Provide outstanding service with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers and kitchen staff via POS and verbally.
• Monitor guest age and alcohol service, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for orders and receipt of food and beverages.
