Job summary

Qualifications

• Food service experience with general knowledge of bar/nightclub operations.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old, per state regulations.
• Communication skills used with guests, cooks, wait staff and supervisors.
• Alcohol awareness certification or food handler card as required by local/state rules.
• Reading and writing abilities used for orders and paperwork.
• Basic mathematical skills used frequently.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Show energy, outgoing personality while maintaining professionalism.
• Perform basic bar prep: refill ice bins, restock beer/liquor, cut garnishes.
• Change empty beer kegs in keg room and move full kegs as needed.
• Keep bar area clean; wipe spills and take out trash.
• Organize bar and drinkware.
• Clear and clean bar quickly and efficiently.
• Handle multiple tasks at once.
• Provide polite, professional customer service.
• Communicate clearly, patiently, and with humor with staff and guests.
• Complete all side work as assigned.
