Job summary

Xfinity Live! in Nashville, TN is seeking a Cocktail Server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver drinks in a fast-paced venue. You will upsell menu items and provide an energetic, professional guest experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of serving experience, fluent English, strong communication skills, and a positive demeanor. POS experience and cash handling knowledge are a plus; night and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of serving in a fast-paced venue, preferably nightclub.
• Fluent English required; other languages preferred.
• Courteous, pleasant, and good-natured demeanor.
• Communication with guests, bartenders and kitchen staff.
• Alcohol awareness certification or health/food handler card as required by local/state law.
• Reading and writing abilities used for orders and paperwork.
• Basic math for cash and credit handling.
• May work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly.
• Serve cocktails and up-sell menu items.
• Maintain energy, professionalism and a friendly smile at all times.
• Communicate clearly with staff using the POS system.
• Ensure guests meet minimum age for alcohol consumption.
• Monitor alcohol service and report incidents as needed.
• Complete all assigned side work and account for sales and payments.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
• Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for orders.
