Job summary

Central Hudson is seeking a Service Desk Technician to deliver hands-on endpoint engineering, device management, and customer-focused IT support across multiple channels. You will ensure reliable operation of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, VDI, and enterprise apps while collaborating with Infrastructure & Operations to maintain a secure environment.

The role requires an associate degree (or equivalent experience), strong Windows and Office skills, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, STEM, Business or related field.
• In lieu of degree, 2+ years relevant experience with HS diploma.
• Experience supporting Windows, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Ability to travel to district locations and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support for end-user issues.
• Manage endpoints and device configurations.
• Collaborate with I&O to coordinate incidents and SLAs.
• Administer Intune/MDM and Azure Virtual Desktop tasks.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Assist storm restoration efforts as needed.
