Job summary

Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support end-user computing environments. You will handle endpoint issues, troubleshoot hardware/software, and manage devices with Intune while supporting Azure Virtual Desktop.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and the ability to travel to district locations. A HS diploma with 2+ years experience or an Associate degree is acceptable, with a Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of related experience with a HS diploma.
• Experience supporting Windows, mobile devices, and enterprise apps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel to district locations and perform duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for end-user endpoint issues and service requests.
• Perform initial triage and diagnose hardware/software issues; document findings.
• Manage devices via Intune and support Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Provide BYOD guidance and maintain security compliance across devices.
• Contribute to incident coordination and knowledge base maintenance.
• Support storm restoration efforts as needed.
