Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Endpoint Platform Engineer to support enterprise Windows management, migration from SCCM to Intune, patching, and automation across a large-scale environment. This hybrid role requires three days onsite in Irvine, CA, with collaboration across infrastructure and security teams.

You will develop PowerShell automation, troubleshoot complex endpoint issues, and support Tanium and other tools while contributing to documentation and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Endpoint Engineering, Endpoint Management, or Windows Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience supporting large enterprise Windows environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint lifecycle management, software deployment, patch management, and Windows policy administration.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex endpoint issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows administration.
• Understanding of endpoint security concepts and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Tanium.
• Exposure to CrowdStrike, CyberArk, or similar endpoint security platforms.
• Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) concepts or tooling.
• Familiarity with ProcMon, PerfMon, and other Windows diagnostic tools.
• Python scripting experience.
• GitHub/version control experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Exposure to Jamf or Workspace ONE.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM environments.
• Assist with ongoing SCCM-to-Intune migration and endpoint modernization initiatives.
• Manage endpoint patching, software deployments, application packaging, policy management, and platform support.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and perform root cause analysis using Windows diagnostic and performance-monitoring tools.
• Support vulnerability remediation efforts and endpoint security initiatives.
• Assist with management and administration of endpoint tools including Tanium and other endpoint management platforms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Partner with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise endpoint services.
• Provide support for large-scale Windows environments and occasional off-hours maintenance activities.
