Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Endpoint Management and Security architect to design and oversee enterprise device management across SCCM, Intune, and related services in a hybrid work environment. This role emphasizes secure, scalable configurations for Windows workstations, mobile devices, and corporate apps.

You will guide migration from on-prem SCCM to cloud-native Intune, define compliance and conditional access, and partner with security and media teams to protect content and ensure regulatory

• 15+ years in large enterprise environments with complex deployment experience.
• Hands-on Intune device management with policy and compliance expertise.

What you’ll do In the role, you will:

• Design integrated cloud and endpoint management architectures that unify SCCM administration, mobile device management, and Intune based device management to provide secure and scalable enterprise solutions across hybrid work environments.
• Oversee configuration standards and governance for SCCM infrastructure, ensuring consistent software deployment, patch management, and compliance baselines that protect devices and support reliable business operations. -Provide expert guidance on Intune policies and profiles, crafting detailed configuration frameworks for windows workstations, mobile devices, and corporate applications to enhance security posture and user productivity. -Drive modernization of legacy device management platforms by planning and executing migration strategies from traditional SCCM centric models to cloud native management approaches using Intune and related services.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to design conditional access, device compliance rules, and endpoint protection policies that address regulatory needs and minimize risk in media oriented environments.
• Coordinate capacity planning and performance optimization for SCCM and Intune workloads, analyzing utilization trends and tuning configurations to maintain high availability and responsive end user experiences. -Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and reporting processes across device management tools, enabling timely identification of incidents, accurate inventory insights, and actionable analytics for continuous improvement.
• Develop detailed automation workflows using scripting and orchestration tools to streamline software distribution, configuration updates, and onboarding processes, reducing manual effort and improving consistency. -Guide cross functional project teams on cloud adoption patterns related to endpoint and mobile device management, aligning solutions with media sector requirements for content protection and seamless collaboration.
• Conduct thorough impact assessments and change management activities for device management initiatives, documenting plans, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring stable rollouts across diverse user groups. -Support incident and problem management by providing senior technical expertise during complex device management issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending durable remediation strategies.
• Document architectures, standards, and operational procedures in clear reference materials, enabling support teams and peers to maintain, troubleshoot, and extend SCCM and Intune solutions effectively.
• Engage with product owners and business partners to translate media business workflows into practical device management capabilities that improve content production efficiency and safeguard creative assets

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Demonstrate 15-20 years of experience across large enterprise environments with a strong track record of designing implementing and maintaining complex configuration and deployment structures.
• Show deep hands on expertise in Intune based device management with proven ability to configure policies compliance rules and application protection features that align with organizational security standards.
• Apply broad knowledge of cloud platforms and endpoint integration patterns to design solutions that connect on premises infrastructures with cloud native services while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Utilize strong communication and collaboration capabilities to work effectively in hybrid teams coordinating with stakeholders in day shift operations to deliver predictable and transparent project outcomes.
