Job summary

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a public-sector technology organization, is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to manage and automate endpoint devices across a 2,500-device environment, support secure connectivity, and improve provisioning and access processes.

The role will serve as an escalation point for complex endpoint, authentication, and connectivity issues, requiring hands-on experience with MDM/endpoint systems, VPN, SSO/MFA, and modern zero-trust technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with MDM or enterprise endpoint management platforms.
• Experience supporting VPN and secure endpoint connectivity technologies.
• Troubleshooting workstation, network connectivity, authentication, and application access issues.
• Automation scripting or programming for endpoint administration and deployment.
• 3+ years in identity and access technologies (SSO, MFA, directory services).
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Experience with endpoint management platforms (JumpCloud, Intune, etc.).
• Experience with secure access technologies (Tailscale, Cloudflare ZT, Zscaler).
• Experience with identity platforms (Okta, Entra ID, etc.).
• PowerShell, Python, Bash, API scripting for automation.
• Google Workspace administration.
• SaaS application administration and integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise workstations and endpoint devices across an approx. 2,500-device environment.
• Engineer and improve MDM and enterprise endpoint management solutions.
• Support secure connectivity between endpoint devices and enterprise applications.
• Administer and troubleshoot VPN and secure access technologies.
• Automate device provisioning, configuration, application deployment, access, and recurring endpoint administration.
• Troubleshoot escalated workstation, authentication, connectivity, VPN, and application access issues.
• Support identity and access management technologies, including SSO and MFA.
• Administer and integrate third-party SaaS and enterprise applications as needed.
