Job summary

Jobot is seeking an IT Endpoint Engineer in Minneapolis, MN, offering a remote-friendly, permanent role within a modern IT team. The position focuses on owning endpoint infrastructure, automation, and security, with collaboration across IT and legal for compliant operations.

You will implement IAM controls, manage Okta, Terraform, and Intune, and build automation using PowerShell, Python, and Bash. A strong tech background and 5+ years in endpoint IT are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT role focusing on endpoint management.
• Experience with endpoint technologies such as Okta, Terraform, and Intune.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM), particularly Entra ID.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Certs such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint systems including Okta, Terraform, and Intune.
• Implement and manage endpoint security measures for sensitive data.
• Develop and implement automation strategies using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Oversee IAM processes like user provisioning and access control.
• Coordinate with IT teams to align endpoint systems with IT strategy.
• Conduct regular audits and generate endpoint performance & security reports.
• Stay updated on endpoint tech trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide user support for endpoint issues and project participation.
