Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Compliance Program Coordinator for the University Development Office on the UT Main Campus. The role supports endowment and gift compliance activities, liaises with colleges and units, and helps manage mandatory reports and monitoring tasks.

You will assist in the UTIMCO Financial Reports project, develop tracking systems, and collaborate with IT and staff to ensure accurate compliance monitoring and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret donor intent through gift agreements and other documents.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with spreadsheets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement annual review of UT Austin endowments to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain tracking documents/databases for compliance.
• Review and track co-sponsorships, transfers, and sub-accounts for endowment operating accounts.
• Communicate with colleges/schools/units on identified compliance questions.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports for compliance activities.
• Maintain/modify compliance-related databases and files.
• Assist with UTIMCO Financial Reports project.
• Attend Executive Compliance Committee meetings and take minutes.
