Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technologist to join the Endoscopy Center in Houston. You will support procedural readiness, patient care activities, and infection prevention while ensuring safe operation of endoscopy equipment and workflow.

Responsibilities include assisting with esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, and advanced techniques, maintaining quality control, and training staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: graduation from surgical technologist program.
• 1 year Endoscopy experience required; or 2 years healthcare experience; or completion of an approved endoscopy education program.
• BLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to hospital and SGNA guidelines for safety and quality control.
• Assist with endoscopy procedures and scope reprocessing.
• Maintain equipment and document specimens during procedures.
• Participate in education and quality improvement activities.
