Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an Endoscopy Technician in a fast-paced ambulatory setting near New York. You will support endoscopy procedures, maintain sterile technique, and protect patient safety while coordinating with the clinical team.

Qualifications include a High School diploma and BCLS certification; GI Tech experience is preferred. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Prior Experience as a GI Tech preferred.
• Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures, protecting the patient from injury and ensuring safe equipment operation.
• Handle specimens according to facility policy and procedures.
• Maintain an organized sterile field and assemble supplies needed for the procedure.
• Provide instruments and supplies to the endoscopist during the procedure and assist with post-procedure cleanup.
• Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects.
