Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an Endoscopy Technician in New York. You will assist with endoscopy procedures, protect patients from hazards, and maintain sterile fields while supporting the endoscopist with instruments and supplies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to facility policies. A high school diploma and BCLS certification are required or achievable within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior GI tech experience is preferred.
• BCLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures and protect the patient from injury.
• Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and report safety concerns.
• Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Provide instruments and supplies to the endoscopist during the procedure.
• Maintain an organized sterile field and ensure scopes are ready for use.
