Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for the Peri-Operative Services team in New Jersey. The role coordinates and implements the endoscopy maintenance and cleaning program and provides back-up to the Central Processing Department as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and training in endoscopic cleaning. Prior endoscopy experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety, PPE, and proper technique.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Training in endoscopic equipment cleaning process.

Responsibilities

• Maintains endoscopy equipment.
• Transports equipment using proper body mechanics.
• Supports Central Processing Department as needed.
• Maintains performance improvement measures for endoscopy.
• Performs reprocessing tasks for scopes including high level disinfection.
