Qualifications

• Current BLS certification at time of hire, or attain within 60 days.
• 2 years in endoscopy technician or central sterile reprocessing preferred.
• Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in infection prevention of endoscope preparation.
• Assist in obtaining biopsy specimens under RN supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs related to reprocessing scopes.

Skills

Ability to read, write and speak English

Basic knowledge of medical terminology
