Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support a range of endoscopic procedures in our hospital setting. You will assist physicians and nurses, prepare equipment, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite; and AHA Basic Life Support certification. Prior endoscopy experience is preferred but not required.

The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting with various types of endoscopic procedures.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Experience as an Endoscopy Assistant.
• Knowledge of infection control / prevention.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
