Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist the procedure team by setting up rooms, maintaining endoscopes, and ensuring equipment readiness for procedures. You will help with patient transport, specimen collection, and communication with the care team under supervision.

Required is a High School diploma and a BLS CPR certification, with preferred 1 year of endoscopy or clinical support experience.

Qualifications

• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up procedures and organize room turnover for endoscopic procedures.
• Clean and maintain endoscopes and equipment.
• Observe patient changes and report findings to nurse/physician.
• Handle hospital calls, relay messages as needed.
• Assist patients with toileting, dressing, and transportation.
• Collect bodily fluid specimens for medical study.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
