Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up procedures and prepare rooms for endoscopic procedures.
• Clean and maintain endoscopes and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Observe patient status and report changes to the nurse/physician.
• Relay messages and information via hospital communications.
• Assist patients with toileting, dressing and transport within the hospital.
• Collect bodily fluid specimens for medical studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
