University of Utah Health in Salt Lake City seeks a PRN Endoscopy Support Technician to provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit under physician supervision. This role may include assisting with procedures, preparing rooms, and ensuring equipment is ready for use.

The position requires flexibility for rotating schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and may involve taking call. Utah licensure/certification per the listed qualifications will be required within specified

Competenze

• Current EMT-Advanced, EMT-Basic with 1 year healthcare experience, Paramedic, CNA, or Certified Surgical Technician in Utah.
• Completion of a Medical Assisting program or MA certification in ambulatory care is acceptable.
• Endoscopy experience is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical history.
• Assist with procedures and be chaperone as needed.
• Ensure equipment and rooms are prepared and restocked.
• Attend mandatory in-services and infection control practices.
