Job summary

United Pacific Surgery Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for a part-time, PRN role. The position involves assisting with patient care in endoscopy under RN/physician supervision, managing endoscopy equipment, and maintaining turnover of procedure rooms.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with no calls, nights, weekends, or holiday work hours. Starting hourly range is $25.00–$31.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years Endoscopy Tech experience.
• Must have working knowledge of standard gastroenterology procedures.
• Endoscopy Tech certification is a plus.
• Current CPR or BLS accredited by AHA (or will obtain within 30 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Assist with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physicians in endoscopy.
• Handle and process endoscopy procedural equipment and turnover of the procedure room(s).
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development within their scope and communicate age-specific patient information.
• Communicate data reflecting patient status and delegated tasks.
