Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures while protecting the patient.
• Operate and report safety concerns and unsafe conditions.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for the procedure.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient privacy.
• Provide hand-off report with concise patient status.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Prepare room and assist with post-procedure cleanup.
• Participate in quality review and performance improvement.
