Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Prior GI tech experience preferred.
• Successful completion of BCLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures with patient safety and equipment handling.
• Maintain sterile supplies and organize instruments for procedures.
• Prepare and hand instruments to the endoscopist during procedures.
• Provide hand-off reports and communicate patient status to the team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot endoscopy instruments and equipment.
• Perform post-procedure cleaning and room turnover for subsequent patients.
• Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects.
