Job summary

SCA Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join our patient-centered team in the United States. The role focuses on supporting endoscopy procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and protecting patient safety throughout the care process.

Responsibilities include assisting the endoscopist, preparing instruments, ensuring proper infection control, and adhering to Universal Protocol. A high school diploma and BCLS certification are required or obtainable within a specified period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior GI Tech experience preferred.
• Successful completion of BCLS (within 90 days of employment) or current BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures and patient safety.
• Protect patient from injury from equipment and hazards.
• Maintain sterile field and organize instruments.
• Prepare and pass instruments to endoscopist during procedures.
• Follow Universal Protocol and site policies.
