Job summary

Pacific Endoscopy Center in Pearl City, HI, is seeking a Part-Time Endoscopy Technician to join our growing team. You will clean and maintain video endoscopes, assist during procedures, and follow CDC infection control guidelines. The role offers 20–29 hours per week with no call or night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques.
• Prior patient care experience in GI, endoscopy, medical assisting, or sterile processing.
• Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain video endoscopes and accessories in GI Endoscopy suites.
• Assist physicians and staff during procedures and adhere to infection prevention guidelines.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and support center operations.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

Part-time hours require 20 - 29 hours/week.

The starting pay range for this position is $19 - $27 per hour, depending on experience.

• Monday-Friday work schedule. Some evening shifts until 7pm and some Saturday work hours may be required, depending on center needs.
• NO call required, NO Nights
• Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prior patient care experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech
• Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)
